Hotels in Fes?

My girlfriend and I are going to Fes in the beginning of August. What's a good hotel for about 30 US$ for the both of us in a single room? Is it necessary to book in advance?

    Around 30 bucks and your best bet on Hotels in the old medina is Hotel Batha. I've used that place plenty of times. A little more expensive and reliable in the Hotel Nautilis in the Ville Nouvelle. MAKE RESERVATIONS! If you are stuck because you didn't make a reservation (it happens all the time) look me up - we'll get you safe.
