Are there any restaurants open xmas day and what time does the local Intermarche shut
Shops are not open on Christmas Day. On Christmas Eve everything closes down around 6pm. Otherwise, Intermarché stores are usually open until 8 or 830pm every day. I cannot speak specifically for Ferragudo but there are generally a few restaurants open on Christmas Day, but if it's an English style Christmas mean you are after you will have a hard time finding anywhere.

Hi, and also to Cubsur ;) I agree Intermarché will probably be closed on Christmas day. I think there will be restaurants open, even in hotels - it's a very touristic region and Christmas is an active period in the Algarve.
