Hello everybody, I am from Eastern Europe and probably will be moving to Pohnpei soon. I am curious, scared..and everything else. Can you give me some informations pretty much about everything there? For example - how is it with renting a place, what are the people like, what are the traditions, is there any danger, how is it for little children???......
You will probably go through Guam to get to Pohnpei. Since Continental Micronesia is the only airline that flies there (unless it has changed). I was there for a few days quite a while back almost 10 years ago. But the people are great & friendly. I remember when I went some of the local ladies were topless. It's very green. It rained often, but for short times. Very few cars on the road. Loved the mangrove crab & Pohnpei black pepper. Hope that helps.
