In August my wife and I are spending five days in Ireland. We will fly in and out of Belfast and will be spending one day with relatives in Rivertown, Sligo. We have booked a hire car and want to do a round trip staying at a couple of places en route. We would like to visit the Giant's Causeway. If anyone can suggest a route and a couple of good places to stay that would be fantastic. Thanks in anticipation. Phil.
I would hate to drive round the china clay area, near St Austell, not know where the best vantage point was for photographs. I have looked at some spectacular photos in books but they don't say exactly where they were taken or if there are any access restrictions. Can anyone help?
Also, is there more than one access road (gate) to the Eden Project or does everyone have to approach from the same side?

I have more than one Credit Card (Amex, Visa, MasterCard) but all have magnetic strips (I'm American) rather than a chip. I have heard mix opinions as to if these will work in / are accepted in the UK. Please advise.
I may have asked a similar question previously - If so, I apologize. Will be in London in early July on a group tour. We will have seen "the best" of London proper and realize we will likely just scratch the surface. Have a few days with the family post formal tour and we would like to get out of the city a bit a see more "country side" --- Thinking of staying in the city but heading out via train (don't think driving on the "other side" of the road would be good for anyone involved) to places that would have some open space, nice locals, maybe a local sight or two but more importantly a quaint small town with a few shops, a pub or two where we can see some local flavor, sit in a park and read for a few hours and easily get there and back. I know it is a bit of an ambiguous request but hopefully someone that knows the area has a favorite spot that could be recommended as an relaxing (but not middle of nowhere) place. Also, as a side note ----- Is there any reason to not stay at a Heathrow airport the night prior to departure vs. London proper. Flights back to the US leave between 8 and 10AM...Which I assume means one needs to be there between 6 and 8AM which would not make for a relaxing night/morning either way. Thanks
Evening all. How would you get from Shrewsbury to Ironbridge (and back) by public transport, on a Saturday, in June? Or on a Sunday? I'd like to do a day trip on one of those days. I guess Saturday would be easier. Thanks. L
Where is the best place to wait for another traveler after I have cleared customs in Terminal 5?
I am just planning my next vacation to Normandy, can anyone suggest me any good places for accommodation? At the moment I have got only this: http://www.domainedelatour.eu/
Hi everyone,
I will be visiting the lake district with my family for about three nights at the start of June (We have a 3 year old and an 8 month old)
Can anyone recommend some excellent accomodation near any of the lakes? We visited Bowness-on-Windermere briefly last year and were enchanted.
Budget is a consideration & self catering is fine, but our main desires are cleanliness, scenery and hopefully the likes of a rustic log fire!
Thanks for your help folks.
Greg.

What is the best airline to fly with to Argentina? I am looking for something with as few stop overs as possible.
I apologize for re-posting this question but I am a newbie and I don't know how to remove my first question.
I don't think that I was very clear in that query. Please let me try again. I am landing on a BA flight at LHR Terminal 5 on Sunday mid morning. A friend, who is also flying BA, is expected to arrive at LHR Terminal 5 a couple of hours later.
Is there a comfortable place (with luggage in tow) that I can watch the screens to see the status of her flight and wait for her to clear customs we can then meet up so we can then proceed to the Heathrow Express?
Thanks everyone for your patience!
Hello
Before booking a round-trip from London, I was wondering if there were nice sights on the way from Oxford that I should check while riding a bicycle.
Oxford is about 60km from London, and I can always catch a local train back to the city somewhere if needed.
Thank you.
Hello,

What is the distance from the Perthshire town center to Gleneagles Hotel? Is it accessible by public transportation?
Appreciate any information regarding the area (places of interest, good value accommodations (80-100 Euros).
Thank you.
Driving from Edinburgh to Uig. Leaving around 11am on Monday. Any tips on which route to take? Ferry to Lochmaddy at 6pm so how long will it take to drive approximately? Still got to hire a car, from Edinburgh...
Will be in Edinburgh this week-end, and was thinking of booking a table at the Witchery for the wife's 50th birthday. I see there are two dining rooms, and I want to choose the best. Anyone know the difference? One is called the secret garden and the other the Witchery.
thanks
