hello, I had planned on visiting Sinai in late June. Is it safe to travel to Sinai at this time?
Hello, we are thinking of spending 10 - 14 days at the beginning of August in Agamy beach. Can someone pls recommend where to find private housing (apartment or small house) for rent for that time. And which area would be suitable for us, as we are travelling with our small dog and wish to wear bikini / swimming trunks only.
I hope someone can help! Thx a lot!
Where can I find a yarn suppliers for personal knitting and crochet?
where i can buy a diamond ring in cairo and how to know it is not fake?
any suggestions or recommendations for an overnighter to luxor. i am looking for a good operator that uses good hotels when we visit in june. also is it bets to go via coach or plane ( i can't see a train option)
I just need someone to go to Luxor with, as my husband doesn't want me to go alone. We went in Jan. so he imagines the hassle I may get. So I need someone that wants to do their own thing like I want to, and just meet up for major stuff and to have someone as a source of help. I have Egyptian friends there and I know I will be fine, but it will reassure my husband if I get a travel partner. I'm interested in June. I'm not talking about sharing a hotel room.

Hi,
I am planning to backpack in Egypt sometime this November with my fiance. Please give me any details that would help me. Expenses. Food. Warnings. Places to visit. how many days would be required to cover Cairo, Alexandria, Hurghada and Aswan. Do I need to take the help of a local travel agency. Last year we backpacked through central and Southern Sri Lanka for 11 days without the help of any travel agency. Is this possible in Cairo? Please give me some information on the above and any additional information would be really helpful.
I have lived here for many years and have a villa and a flat here. I lve here about 7 months of the year. I am aged 70 and in reasonable health, but with some pre existing conditions (high blood pressure for which I am on medication and some other (small) things . I am British and do not have medical insurance because the cost would be prohibitive and the insurance company would never pay up anyway. I have had to seek medical help on a couple of occasions. Once when i cut my leg and the other time for a small infection (from sea water) in my ear
I went to El Gouna Hospital and initially they wanted to charge me 50 Euros for a consultation only. When I showed my villa contract to them , the cost was promptly reduced to 60LE
Can anyone advise me authoritatively about sat (God forbid), if i had a heart attack or suffered a broken leg and had to be carted off to hospital. Are the fees they charge discretionary? Would I have to sign something or produce my bank card for a swingeing payment to be made before I would be stabilised ?
Is there an insurance scheme in this country which is fairly honest, reliable and not cost prohibitive or can one pay into a hospital scheme where accidents and emergencies are covered?
Hi.How to get from Sharm-el-sheikh to Rafah (border crossing) and from Rafah to Gaza City. Or the same situation about getting from Taba.Thanks.
Hello, I am making plans to travel to egypt in August 2013 with my 6 yr old son! I was just doing a bit research on where to go and what to do and all of a sudden I am enundated with extreme negative news on how not safe is it for tourists. Is it true? should I be concerned about my trip to eqypt? or are things more exagerated than they should be. If I was traveling alone I wouldn't care but I am concerned for the well fare of my son. Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
I am in Cairo tutoring children English, and I have lots of free time to discover the city but I am weary as a woman, of doing it alone, does anyone fancy an exploring companion? I'm here now so please let me know soon :)
I have recently split up with my partner, so it looks like im going alone, which is a first for me and im a little apprehensive about it. Does anybody have any experiences of Jaz Mirabel Beach as a lone traveller. Or are there any other lone travellers going on 5th May who would like to meet up?
Thanks

Hi,
I really want to take a tour in June 2013 to see the pyramids...I heard it is not safe. I read about the tourists kidnapped for ransom last year. Can you please tell me your thoughts?
