What aspects of a holiday in this city would appeal to a tourist from New Zealand who has already visited and enjoyed immensely Beijing, Miyun, Xian and Hong Kong?
Perhaps because it's smaller than Beijing, Xi'an, and Hong Kong and there won't be so many other foreign tourists. It's always fun to be in a town where you're the only foreigner. I visited the village of Genzi in Guangdong and told everybody that I was from New Zealand. (US and NATO forces had just bombed the China embassy the week before.)
