Has anyone been to Evian? What is there to do? Besides drink the water...
Evian is a quiet town but there are some fun things to do. Depends what time f year you go... The hiking in the area is excellent - ranging from a gentle walk along teh lake to snow shoes in teh alps nearby. There is a casino in Evian, with a very good restaurant attached. There are also some very good erstaurents in the centre. You can do a full 'cure' including baths and mud treatments etc at the source (note that there is another source that is not commercialised - try it if you'er there, its just down the rad from teh free Cachat source) YOu can get the ferry over to switzerland, if the weather is clear and there is snow then it's an amazing trip. I would highly reccomend that you go walking or snow shoeing in the mid-mountain stations that are nearby. If you hadn't guessed I've been to EVian several times and I reccomend at least 3 or 4 days to visit the area Yso
