The Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia will implement the Schengen Agreement in the week before Christmas 2007. That is wonderful news!! My husband is Indian and what he has to go through to get ANY visa is an absolute disgrace!! I had put off Eastern Europe for that very reason. Having done 8 Schengen countries this summer, although it was an absolute pain in the a** to get a visa, it would have been much worse if he had to get separate ones for each country!
