No better place than S E Asia, and if you are leaving in 3 weeks you will still have plenty time to get some sun before the rainy season sets in, in June.
Take your pick--Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos, they are all cheap and the food is superb.
and as for your girlfriend there are plenty more fish in the sea and you may find an Asian beauty !!!!

If you want sun, and sailing, sightseeing and scenery- do some island hopping in Greece.
Naxos and Santorini are just perfect. Read a few VT pages about Greece
