I'm looking to rent a place in Progreso, Mexico on or near the beach, for 5 months next winter -November 2013 to March 31st, 2014. I hope to get a place for aprx.600.monthly, considering it is a long-term rental.(preferably with wifi) If anyone knows where to go to start searching please contact me. Thanks for any help. Coco
We bought a house near Progreso and are starting to make a lot of contacts. A lot of them rent their houses for part of the year. Unfortunately, most of them winter there at the time you need a rental. We aren't full time yet but keep in touch and we may be able to help you out eventually.

There are also rentals on craigslist - there is an agency that puts in a lot of ads, they aeem fine and have a number of properties. It is one of the more reasonable areas and fro 500 you should do fine.
