We are planning to go to Ethiopia and cross to Eritrea. We travel by cycle but looks like is not possible to border overland.I have read that the best option is by plane trought a third country ( Sudan or yemen) but this is not an exciting option for bikers. Do you know if we can cross to Djibouti and get eritrea from there? We would appreciate any comments .
It´s at the moment not possible to cross by land to Eritrea from any of it´s neighbouring countries. Flying is unfortunately the only option there.

i have that info from a friend who came back from that region two weeks ago so it should be accurate.
