Hi, After much deliberating I have decided to head to Portugal for my surf trip in a week or so and will probably split my time between Ericeira and Peniche. What I was wondering is which way round to do it? I would like to go to the most fun evening place for the weekend and wondered which one is more lively? Either fun bars or nightclubs would be good. Also, if anyone has any good tips on hostels or surf camps, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks, Ben
I am looking for winter accommodation at Sao Juliao near Ericeira..possibly 2 weeks in October...2 people - so 1 bed apartment..
Traveling to Portugal in the first week of July with my family and was look at Ericeira as a nice place for base camp. I have a 10 and 11 year old and I thought the beach would be fun and I love the idea of the old fishing village. It sounds very much like San Sebastin in Spain. My concern is about the wind. Does it get windy there in July? How is the weather? If not Ericeira, where else would you recommend?
Hello. Are there still fishing boats in Ericeira? By from Ennah
They will be quite a few members of the official england fan club in Ericeira this summer. Are there any owner/managers who would like to take advantage of this,by providing a "base" for us. I think there are about 120-150 in total. It can be good business for both sides... If interested e-mail me at georgethepodge@aol.com. Looking forward George
Hello, me and my friend are going to Portugal this summer and we are spending one night on Lisbon's coast. I wanted to sleep near Cabo da Roca or Ericeira but couldn't find any accomodation far from Cascais/Estoril, that in summer is very crowded...so please would anyone advice us about accomodation near Cabo da roca or Ericeira? I was in Cabo da Roca summer 2000 and near there there's a nice hotel/residence but I can't remember the name... thank you!!! Cecilia from Italy
