Hello all! Does anybody know if same-day re-entry is permitted at Ephesus, or would I need to purchase two tickets? I am thinking of going early in the morning, head back into Selcuk mid-day, and then back to Ephesus late afternoon after crowds shrink. Thank you for any info!
As far as I am aware, you'll need 2 tickets.

Unfortunately you need to buy 2 tickets. The one which you use in the first entry will not allow you access later in the afternoon. There will be crowds for sure, but it2s a huge area and you can enjoy every corner of it regardless of the crowd. I suggest you start the day early and get extra water and even an umbrella to protect from the sun. Then all Ephesus is yours. You can take a look at my Ephesus page for some pictures and info.

I agree with starting at the top and getting the audio guide, which allows you to go at your own pace. Enjoy! more
