Hello. Does anyone know where there is a burro refuge or grouping of them that we may visit and take photos of? Thank you.
Every once in a while I see a burro pulling an old man's cart followed by his dog down the street (it is kind of like stepping back in time about a century or so). I have not heard of a refuge, but there is a slide show at islandconservation.org/burro... from a conservation group moving burros off of the nearby islands. Maybe if you cantact them they will be able to tell you where they take them. I have also read that wild burros freely roam the hills of Punta Banda.

Another option may be to simply buy a set of cheap towels and sheets in Ensenada at WalMart or Gigante. That may lighten... more
