My family will be arriving on 3 different international flights into Heathrow Terminal 5 between 0620 to 0720. When we finish customs and exit, can we wait at the BA Arrivals lounge for our other relatives? Are we able to access the lounge without going through Security again. I have been to the Heathrow website, but I don't find it clearly answering my question?
I would appreciate any help you can give me.
My brother is flying to US from India and is transiting at Heathrow airport (for 10 hours). He doesn't have a transit visa for UK so i am assuming he cannot come out of airport. Can I (holding uk visa and staying in London) go and meet him for a couple of hours ?
Hi, Does anyone know which terminal in Manchester airport I would leave from this coming Saturday, flying to Lyon, France.
My booking confirmation states T.3 but the reminder email I received states T.1 which leaves me confused.
I have looked on the site and it states T.3. I have tried to telephone but after holding for 20 minutes had to give up holding so, please, please if anyone has flown to France from Manchester airport recently, with easyJet please ease my mind and let me know ASAP.

We will be in London end of March.
Does anyone have special advice or tips concerning art exhibitions separate from the average tourist destinations?
(we are in London almost once a year, so we know the main attractions)
Me and my girlfriend are planning a week away in the lakes this coming summer, we need somewhere nice but also relatively cheap to stay, preferably somewhere close to Windermere so we can just get the train as neither of us has a car.
A friend and I will be visiting England for the first time in May for 9 days. We're staying in London at the Park Plaza Victoria. After doing some research for weeks looking at soooo many hotels, this seemed to be the one I kept coming back to for location and preferred accommodation. Hope I made a good choice! We want to pack so much into this vacation as neither of us will probably have this opportunity again. We arrive early on a Monday morning and plan to do a lot of the major attractions in London on the first 3 days. On the 4th day we have a daytrip to Manchester....this was the best date for rates for train travel. The 5th day we plan on visiting the little town of Caston, Norfolk as this is where my friends ancestors originated from, so excited for her! Both these trains we will catch at Euston, London station. Haven't decided which day but we are planning to take the Eurostar escorted day trip to Paris, that is a must! We would also like to see Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, the Cotswolds and one of the must see museums. There are a lot of tours and anyone that has first hand experience on any of them, I would love to hear about it or any other suggestions would be great!
I think the biggest question going through my head right now is about transportation. Oyster Card, Travel Card? The travel card you get discounts on some attractions, so maybe that's our best bet, still not sure! I've read many articles how the London Pass is not worth the money, any input on that would be great too.
Also arriving at Heathrow at 6:30 a.m......take the tube or hire a pickup from the airport? I know the latter would probably more convenient or not??
We have a jam packed holiday planned I know but Hey we're going to England, have to make the most of it right! At the same time, still want to be thrifty and save where we can. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
After we get off the train at Manchester, Picadilly, how far is it to the set of Coronation Street and what type of transportation do you recommend to get there? Do you recommend certain attractions as must see in Manchester?
Does the original house called norton towers still exist

Tower of London

We also plan to go to Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Chinatown or Leicester square if they are near to one another.

Are there any "on and off" sightseeing buses in Dover?

My family is arriving at T5. I am arriving at T3 of LHR for assist them.
Plan is I will go to T5 wait for their arrival and all of us will come to T3 to fly with same flight.
All are residents of Finland, which I am aware there is no need of Transit Visa for connecting in LHR and I have travelled couple of times via LHR.
Now I am not having onward connecting flight boarding pass for T5 flight connections, but I want to assist my family
from T5. Will Passport control have any restrictions for this case ?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
I'm from Fiji but have a Swedish permanent residency card. I will travel from Fiji to Sweden, but I have to collect my bag and check in again for the flight to Sweden. Do I need a visa to go through immigration to check in my bag again?
We are 2 girls from Spain and Italy currently living and working in London for a few months.
We want to visit different places around UK, so we will go tomorrow to Dover. We would like to meet someone from here who can explain us the beautiful city and have fun. Does anyone free tomorrow to meet with us?
I know that there are meal packages you can buy at Hexham Races, but I am trying to understand what the food options are if you don't pre-purchase one of these packages. Are you able to have a reasonable sit down meal anywhere? Any help from somebody who has been there would be fantastic.
we are thinking of booking Courtyard Cottage (in the courtyard of Kirkgate House) and we are wondering how far it is from the railway station (also if anyone recommends the cottage) thank you.
I am going to Ascot races in June and would like to book something for before and after the races...champagne breakfast and evening music...or just the evening music. Any recommendations please?

Does anyone here know what Ryanair charges for checked luggage?
What is the maximum weight (kg) per person?
Cost per kg or per bag?
Group 1 (4 people) arrive from US in Terminal 1. We are to get to Terminal 4 to meet Group 2 that is arriving from US an hour later, where we will all pick up pre-arrange ground transport. So the plan is for Group 1 to claim baggage and take the Heathrow Express to Terminal 4. Two questions: 1) Will Group 1 have to clear customs in Terminal 1, and if so, will they still have access to the Heathrow Express? and 2) Where in Terminal 1 do you recommend that Group 1 and Group 2 try to meet? Thanks!
