A few years ago, I remember reading about towns in Central or South America which abounded in Spanish schools. These were not universities offering large-scale classes. Rather, a student would be welcomed into a teacher's home, and would live there and study there. This seems like a much more enriching way to learn a language and experience a culture. Has anyone ever had this experience? If so, I'd love to hear from you. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Gracias!
