Eilat Travel Answers

Eilat to Cairo....

I am about to go to Eilat for a few days from Tel Aviv, and am interested in taking a 2-3 day excursion to Cairo, to see the pyramids. I am told that you can take a txi to Cairo from Tel Aviv, can you do the same from Eilat? If I get a visa in the consulate, will I have problems entering at Taba, if I am an American Citizen? Pete

    Just look at the map! Do you know what's the distance Eilat - Cairo ? You need 5-7 hours by bus, not a direct one, and not a taxi.
