Takeaway Kebabs and Chinese near Gilmore Place/Convention Centre

My brother is going to be at a conference in Edinburgh for a few days next week and since he's going to be busy, he's thinking of getting takeaways for his evening meals. I thought I'd save him time wandering around by asking for some recommendations first. He's pining for kebabs (coz we don't have such things where we live) so I think we should start there and then throw in some recommended Chinese takeaways for a change of diet. I can't see him eating kebabs 4 days in a row. Are there any near Gilmore PLace or the Convention Centre? Many thanks.
