Travelling to Edinburgh next week. A few questions please.

My brother has booked our group with Mercat Tours. I've read some good reviews and was wondering if anyone has any opinion on Mercat compared to some of the other ghost tours. Also, what of some of the "adult" oriented entertainment? Is there a reputable, clean, and safe place my fiance and I can go to see some beautiful girls taking off their clothes for money? What ettiquette and dress code should be observed in these places?
