I was in Dunmore East about 10 years ago and eat at a little restaurant at the bottom of the hill as you reach the harbour, before you head left into the little town. Can anyone tell me the name of the restaurant? We left for Hook Head the following morning and my father fell and we had to return home. He passed away a few days later. I would like to return to some of the places I went with him in those last few days. Any help would be appreciated. J.
Gotta be The Ship. Either way, if you go to Dunmore East it shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to find it. Donal

The Ship is no longer there, but has been replaced by a great Mediterranean style restaurant called Azzuro. There's also another great seafood restaurant now called The Spinnaker, which is casual but superb.
