I'll be flying into Dusseldorf on a Sunday staying at the Breidenbacher Hof. I gather it is very easy to take the train in from the airport. I know I have a number of option to the main train station. Once I get there am I best off taking a cab the rest of the way or is the U-Bahn a fairly easy connection? A tram would be ideal. Finally, is there a travel card that I can get at the airport that will see me through 4 days of public transport? I don't want the extras of the Visitors Card--just transport. Thanks.
funny this comes up. I went last november here, and ask for transportation, all suggested the SBahn train system, decided last minute for a taxi about 21 euros. My German collegues suggested the taxi on way back too. hope it helps your planning
