i am travelling from dusseldorf main train station to moenchengladbach am nordpark, for 5 days and want to know the best and cheapest train ticket to buy. i will be in dusseldorf for a total of 9 days. is there a weekly ticket or nwhat is best. I believe that my travel will be zone c.

Düsseldorf - Mönchengladbach is indeed price level C. single ticket EUR 9,60 4 single tickets EUR 33,40 day ticket EUR 22,40 2 x 4 single tickets + 2 single tickets = EUR 110,90 monthly tickets (calendar month!) Ticket1000 116,90 Ticket2000 121,15 Ticket2000 is valid in the entire VRR area during the following times: after 7 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays; all day at the weekends and on official holidays. See also the linked brochure. Thus as long your 9 days stay is inside a calendar month the monthly tickets will be the better deal.
