Can someone please enlighten me about tipping in Dubai??? Thanks! :)
Alright, so I've heard that some clubs in Dubai are racist towards East Asians and deny them entrance at the club.
Is this true? I'm Asian, but I've been raised in Europe my entire life, and I'm going there on a vacation for a week with my best friend. We wanna check out the nightlife of Dubai, so I'm just wondering if I should take the chance?
Also, how strict are the clubs in Dubai? I've heard that in some places, they will grant you access even if you are under 21, but you'll have to pay a higher entrance fee.
Any help would be very much appreciated! :)

Hi I'm a 20 year old woman who is planning to stay alone in dubai for couple of days. I have been seeing hotels in Rolla Street in Bur Dubai and Al Salahuddin Street in Deira District. I'm staying alone so I'll probably be going out alone and I wanted to know which one is better or a safer area. Also, does anyone know what is the minimum age requirement for hotel check-in at / Royal Falcon Hotel and Ramee Hotel Apartments , I haven't found it on the internet. Thanks a lot !
On route to Sydney, my friend and I are stopping in Dubai for 2 or 3 nights. Staying in Jumeira Beach, I want to know: how safe is the public transport from the airport to the hotel and back again? And is it easy to see the sights? eg: Burj Al Arab/ Burj Khalifa/ Shopping areas
Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
What are the shopping facilities like in Dubai? Are UK retail stores operating in Dubai a reflection of the UK stores? Do they provide the same stock, are they as busy and are they more expensive?

Is the Jumeirah Monorail still in service? Very limited info about it online. Is it a convenient way to travel to the Atlantis Hotel?
It is possible to buy timed tickets at http://www.burjkhalifa.ae/... For instance I am able to buy a ticket for 5 pm. Is it good for going up the observation deck at any time between 5 pm and 6 pm (I realize, that you're allowed to stay at the deck as long as you want). I realize, that the elevator takes only one minute to go up, but do I have to face (long) waiting times? Or is it sufficient to arrive at Burj Khalifa or instance at 5 pm to be at the observation deck within 15 minutes? Unfortunately I've a very tight schedule...
I should like to ask you about what can I do in a week in Dubai , but unfortunately I will be in the airport for seven hours , next February , early in the morning Do you recommend me to leave the airport and see some highlights of Dubai in order to get a quick flash of the city or just relax and visit the shops (?) Is time enough to go to town ? What is more convenient Metro or taxi? What would you visit in this shortbtime ? Thank you Gracias !!!
My boyfriend and I are staying at the Kempinski hotel, Ajman, in late May and I was hoping for some first hand advice on acceptable behaviour for unmarried couples within the hotel/ on the beach please? I have checked and they are fine for us to share a room! Obviously, we're not planning on any public heavy petting, but a bit of light romance - holding hands etc would be nice! I'm guessing we must be very conservative at the airport and outside the hotel? Any answers gratefully received as Google searches are giving very conflicting answers. Thanks
Dears, I received a job offer from a Dubai based company and I am not sure about the cost of the life there? Renting good flat? Car?..... Regards; AG
Is it worth to visit Burj Khalifa at night too? Respectively why is the afternoon the best time to visit Burj Khalifa? When looking at the map, I supposed, that sun would glare at the afternoon, so that the northwestern parts of Jumeirah Beach including the most famous attractions like the palm and Burj Al-Arab can't be seen well? Or can't they be seen anyway and one can only see the skyline around Dubai world trade center and the creek?
Hello, I am coming to Dubai next month for relaxing . while I in Dubai I want to buy some auto spare parts and used tires, where can I found these in Dubai, Thank you,

My friends are saying that its is better to avoid rent a car in Dubai as sometime they make problems buy charging extra plus showing the previous damages. It happens to 2-3 families and they were very upset. Does any one know about the private taxi person who is reliable and is available for 10 days. Hello everyone! We are traveling to Dubai soon and I was wondering for awhile about the payment options there. Are credit/debit cards widely accepted, for example supermarkets, smaller restaurants and shops etc, or there will be a problem and having cash is a must? Of course we don't expect to get going there with 100% online payment but how far can we go with cards? Also can we exchange some currency upon arriving there on the airport (after midnight) or we should arrange that before boarding the plane to Dubai? Any opinions, suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, Daniel
