Hi, Atlantis is a nice hotel, on the Palm, though kinda all by itself! Burj Al Arab is visible from it, and quite close-by, Khalifa is not too far either. When you say "Emirates Mall", which one? There is one by that very name, by the airport, and then there is the Mall of the Emirates (also with a metro station with the same name!) This other one has the indoor ski slope.. The Gold souk is by the Creek, so I suggest grouping that with the Dinner cruise, along with 'emirates Mall' if you mean the one near the airport. These are all close together, though a good 25 kms from the Atlantis! Why waste time going back & forth? Don't miss Dubai Museum & Heritage Village, on the other side of the Creek opposite the Gold souk. Will also help you pass time if waiting for the cruise, etc!! You can group Khalifa with an earlier 'tour' of Al Arab. I guess you're aware you really need to book a lunch/tea/dinner to even get in! Without a confirmation print-out they will not even let you over the causeway leading to Al Arab, which is on the sea.. As for Khalifa, an advance, time-slot online booking costs 100 AED versus 400 AED walk-in rate! Then another day relaxing in the Atlantis (practical as it's attached to your hotel), rather than head to Wild Wadi! Then for the afternoon book the half-day desert safari :-) Make sure you do not plan to visit the GOld souk on a Friday, as it's closed till 1430 hours, same for the creek - no abras (water-taxis) till 1430.. Enjoy DXB :-)

When you say "tour"do you mean with an organised tour group? If not, as already explained, you can't 'tour' Burj Al Arab, you can only go inside on an official tour or if you've booked at one of the restaurants. Atlantis is about 30 kilometres from Dubai Creek but is not far from Mall of the Emirates and Burj Al Arab/Wild Wadi. It's about the same distance to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Fountain as the Flora hotel is. So really either hotel would suit your schedule.

Thank you so much for all your inputs. I mean to say Mall of Emirates. I plan on having a tea and nothing much at Al Arab. I will stick with flora creek .

Hi, You may want to try to check in at STAR METRO HOTEL in Deira. I have just tried it there the past weekend and I cannot comment anything bad on the hotel. It is much more than expected. Try to check this link: hotel.info/Hotel/Detail?sear... The price per night is just AED. 275 or USD. 74.88. Inclusive of Buffet breakfast and hotel has swimming pool to. 1.) Gold Souq - You can go there from hotel either by a bus ride from Star Metro (will take you approx. 10-15 mins) depending on the traffic. Taxi would not cost too much as it's near. 2.) Emirates Mall has no hassle because from that hotel you can take metro to the mall. Approx. 200 metres away. 3.) Burj Khalifa - From Emirates Mall you can take the Metro again towards Burj Khalifa for the fountain show. 4.) Burj Al Arab can be accessed through Taxi or if you prefer to have a long trip to kill your time, take Metro and have a bus to transfer to reach Burj Al Arab. 5.) Desert Safari - most of the travel tours company provide the pick-up from your hotel and back. :) 6.) Atlantis is quite far so taxi is just the option for this otherwise Wild Wadi is much near. Just walking distance from Burj Al Arab. Hit me back if you have other concerns. :)
