Any one know where to get good Ouzi for cheap for Iftar. Not looking to go to some expensive hotel or anything. May be a decent joint somewhere in the city.

I'm not sure whether they're doing it during Ramadan, but the Friday lunch buffet at L'auberge always has ouzi. You could call them to check, they're at Jumeirah Town Centre mall on Beach Road (near Mercato Mall).

Hi! Try the Iftar buffet at the Al Boom Tourist village.( on the creek near the Gharood Bridge) give them a call and check if ouzi is on the menu in any of the restraunts they have the buffet at....its not as expensive as the 5* hotels. Another reasonable bet would be the Caravan Restruant by the Clock Tower.you could check them out too. They have a nice popular buffet for about Dhs.40/-. Ask them the day of the week when they have Ouzi on the menu. ( have had it there a couple of times !)
