Just wanted to get some info about the above areas. How are the area i.e. transportation to city centre and other city attractions like Wild Wadi, beach, Lamsy Plaza, Creek, Gold Souk, City Centre mall, Al Diyafah street etc. And is the area safe, say if we travel back to our hotel by early morning 2 or 3 AM ?? Thanks for the answers. Zain
Hi My wife and I went to Duai a couple of years back. We stayed in the Bur Dubai area and we took local buses and taxis to get around and we didn't have any problems with that. We also felt pretty safe in Dubai even at night. I have posted a trip report on my VT page and you will also find a trip report with lots of pictures on my homepage gardkarlsen.com. I hope you will find some useful information there :-) Regards Gard Stavanger, Norway

Al Qusais and Al Nahda are on the border with Sharjah.Al Qusais has industrial areas, a massive Lulu Hypermarket, lots of schools and residences, and loads of driving schools, so zillions of learner drivers around! It is very close to the Sahara Centre - a fabulous shopping mall with no crowds. A taxi from Al Qusais to City Center is going to cost around 20 dirhams. Wild Wadi is quite a distance from Qusais and should take about 30 minutes by car, but with the traffic maybe up to an hour, costing around 60 dirhams by taxi. The local bus is a cheaper option but I can't comment on that as I've never used it. If you take a Big Bus tour, you can hop on and off at all the main attractions in town for one payment. The traffic is heavy heading in and out of town from those two areas and you need to allow a lot of time to travel a short distance. You have nothing to worry about with safety at any time of the day or night. Have a good time, Ali

Sorry Cham old boy but I fail to see what your question has to do with the macroeconomic climate prevailing in Benin!
