Birthday in Doolin

by Sunshine68 Online Now Feb 23, 2012 at 2:19 PM

Spending a few days, of the 10 I have in the area, in Doolin this coming Spring, and I'm wondering which pub would be most fun to celebrate my birthday (June 2) at. Hoping for a place that offers good food, good music and a lively crowd. I'm a Canuck (Canadian) and this will be my first time in beautiful Ireland. I have been told that either McGann's or McDermott's would be good bets. Anyone have any opinions on either?

I'm partial to O'Connors myself, but I think you'd be hard pressed NOT having a good time in any of them. Just keep in mind there will be plenty of other tourists there with you as well.

Doolin is a tiny hamlet. You can easily walk from pub to pub. O'Connors has award winning Irish Stew.
