Going to be in Barbados off a cruise ship. Travelling with a 3 year old and some other senior citizens. Don't want to pay an arm and a leg on shore excursions. My ship docks at 7:00AM leaving at 6:00PM Any ideas? What is there to do?

I'm confused as to whether you will be in Roseau, Dominica (title of the question) or Barbados (in the text). I don't know what there is in Roseau that would interest a small child. Perhaps take him or her to the Botanical Garden. In Barbados there are some nice beaches
