I will be stopping at doha airport in Qatar between London and seoul and was wondering if i needed a transit visa to do so? I will be there for about 9hrs but wont be leaving the airport. If I did need one, how do I apply? I think i left it a bit late to ask as well....Please help!
If you are not leaving the airport you don't need a visa.

I can confirm that UK Passport holders don’t need a transit visa at Doha airport and in case you want to leave the airport, UK Passport holders can get a visa at the airport which will cost 100 Qatar Riyals which cost around £18. Payment is made by using Visa card Master Card and Visa Debate card. You can also apply in Advance for a Qatar / Oman Joint visa) Fill out all 4 sections, on section 3 it was ask you address in Doha – just click Doha – the rest easy to fill out. portal.www.gov.qa/wps/portal... Josho-bo you have nothing to worry about you will be fine and enjoy your holidays.

> surely i have to leave the lounge to connect my flight?? Not necessarily. You will be in international transit zone as long as you don't go through immigration but connect internally within the airport, in which case you won't need a visa. But looks like your problem is solved, re: answer above mine :-) Good luck!
