Day stopover in Doha

Hi there Will be going to the UK in August and wondered if it's worth doing a full day stopover in Doha, Qatar? Have been looking at things to do there, but there doesn't seem that much of interest as far as I can see! (But with all the new development going on, I could be wrong!) Does anyone have must-see things to do for a day (from approx. 7am - 11pm on (probably) a Monday). Thanks in advance!
