HI,
I am Éva from Germany, arrive to Lisbon. I would like to meet people living there in Lisbon

Just by the moderate way, Museum, Monuments, Beach, famous Restaurants and Cafés.
Hopefully can someone join to me.

Hi everyone, I´ll be in Lisbon at a hotel in the near Praça dos Restauradores on a steep slope. This hotel doesn´t offer breakfast, could you please recommend a good place to have a good breakfast nearby ? Thank you !
Me and my wife , we have 6 full days in Lisboa.
We intended also to visit Évora and Sintra, each one in a full day trip, that way we really have 4 full days for Lisboa.
- 4 days to know all the best in Lisboa , is it enough ? are we missing anything ?
- If 4 days, it is not enough to Lisboa, wich places should we prioritize (must see, we can´t loose) in Lisboa ? any suggestions, please...
hello, maybe me and my class go to cabo de roca in september 2014. our question is, if we can hire a bus, so that we can drive to Lisabon when we want? we don't want to drive by train.
We´ll be in Lisbon this early June and considering some day trips. Do you think that Evora and Marvão are doable in just one day? I´m undecided if I have to choose one.

When is the san antonio festival?
Will be arriving in Lisbon at 9PM next week /Weekday
As i understand it would be faster to get in a Taxi .
We will be heading towards Rua Filipe Folque close to Picoas Metro.
I am correct in saying it should be no more than 10 euros. ? luggage charge+pickup+xx per km+(nightly surcharge?)
When u give the hotel on a piece of paper avoid mis pronounciations etc u have already shown your command of the language is weak. So concerned if i am asking to be over charged.
An earlier question in the Portugal Forum did not get me many responses, am still confused and am therefore putting this question again for help. Please help with specifics.
We will arrive in Lisbon in the evening of 12 May and plan to use the metro to reach our Hotel. Thereafter we have two full days in Lisbon (13 and 14 May) and fly off on the third day i.e. 15 May. We intend spending one day in Lisbon and going on a day trip to Sintra and Cascais by ourselves on the second day. In Lisbon we would like to travel around the city. May not enter any museums etc. Can someone advise us on (1) which is the cheapest card to buy for use in all transport that we would use during our trip. (2) Is it better to buy individual tickets. (3) When you say top up of a card daily, does in involve standing in a queue to top up the transport card or is a simple process that does not take time. Thanks in advance for any help.
Hi i understand that buses go from the Sete Rios bus terminal in Lisbon.
I don't speak portugese so impossible to read the online site . Can we buy the tickets when we get to the bus station? How much is it 11 each way still(Mar 13)? Is there more than one bus company at Sete Rios bus terminal?
I was wondering if it is possible to get to the beach easily from Lisbon? Myself and a friend are looking for a week away where we can combine sightseeing with some time on the beach and really like the idea of Lisbon but I'm unsure how far it is to travel from the city to spend a day on the beach. Any advice would be gratefully received!
Hello, I would like to go to Portugal in September 1-15. I am planning to stay in Lisboa or Cascais. I was wondering what is the weather like in Cascais during the first two weeks in September? Is it warm enough for swimming and sunbathing?
Two of us will be in Lisbon in June this year and wish to make a day trip from Lisbon to Sintra, Cascais and back by train / bus. Need guidance on:-
1. Best way to approach the circuit - starting at say 9 AM, and reaching back by around 9 / 10 PM. How can we club in Caba da Roca and Boca da Inferno to the trip.
2. I know the obvious comment would be that time is too short. Yes it is but given the reality, we can compromise by just reaching the Pena Palace and Castelo Dos Mouros and not spend time inside.
3. Could someone suggest how we can optimise on bus and train timings and fares with some details please.
4. The aim is to have a feel of the beauty of these places in the given short time that we have. (Yes, it does sound like tick marking!)
5. Also if possible, we would like to swim in the beach in Cascais maybe just for half an hour or so, therefore I think reaching Cascais in the afternoon may be a better idea.
6. I know that is a lot to ask for but please help in clarifying the issues.

anyone ever use them to inform me about facilities and prices? (for august)
Can not find an update on this in the travel guide. Is it necessary to purchase tickets a few days ahead of time for better prices? I know I can do it on-line but would prefer to purchase at the station a couple of days in advance.
thanks
I heard that bus to Fatima is more convenient. Do I need reservations in advance and can we take luggage on board? How much time do you think we need to explore Fatima? Thank you.
We will travel 29 April from Lisbon to Fatima.
i am wondering how do i get to the hotels from cabo da roca? is there any taxis or is it easy to walk there after sunset or theres still bus available after sunset? i probably will choose to live in arribas/vip miramonte hotel/miramonte hotel, which seems to be the closest to cabo da roca...
