      Clervaux May 1, 2015 at 11:22 AM

I am planning a trip for February. Driving from Amsterdam, are roads maintained or are they so small access would be difficult in snow?

Where are some places to eat in or near Clervaux?
      Thanks

Euroforum Building, rue Robert Stumpe - which bus route?

      Luxembourg May 23, 2015 at 10:42 AM

Hi, its been 10 years since last came to Luxembourg City so I am rather unfamiliar with public transport. Later next month I am staying at the Hotel Grey, 4 Rue Joseph Junck, 1839 Luxembourg - which I believe is close to the train station. I need to get to the Euroforum Building, rue Robert Stumpe - could anyone advise please? Also, I have been told the area around the hotel is situated in slightly sleazy, I will be in town for a week so suggestions would every welcome on good vegetarian eating out and sociable places to meet/chat with local people. Uke most Brits' my French is terrible. Thank you, Sparky. PS what buses leave the airport to the train station? best Tautag

    • Public Transport to the Best Western Euro Hotel

      Gonderange Oct 5, 2013 at 7:05 AM

I am staying here 7-9 October. Can I get a bus from the airport, drop my bag in a locker, have a look around for a few hours and then get a bus to this hotel from the station? Is this a good plan? I don't want to carry my bag too far and I guess a taxi would be very expensive.
Thanks very much for your help and advice in advance.

      Dinant to Echternach + accomodation

      Echternach Sep 7, 2008 at 5:10 PM

My husband and I will be leaving Dinant Belgium for Echternach. Unfortunately, i can't seem to find the cost of train 2nd class from Dinant to Echternach.
      1)Is there a direct train?
2)How much will it cost? one way?
      3) From there we will stay for 4 nights and head back to Amsterdam Central? Is there a direct train and how much for 2nd class?
The websites for train service in the Netherlands and Belgium only show cost for internal and domestic services.
      4) Does anybody know of a good B and B near the Echternach train station. We are an elderly couple and we would like to find budget accomodation near the staion. a budget hotel would also be fine. many thanks for your help

Hello, and thank you for your advice in advance.
I noticed there are not hotel/hostels type of accomodation in the tips area. That naturally brings me to wonder.. are there places to stay in the city so as not to have to return to Lux City?

I think it was located on the Grand rue about 200 metres from the bridge (the one over the sure)and on the opposite side from the bike shop. Any help would be much appreciated, thanx in advance, Steve.
