We are planning a trip to Ireland, and want to stay in Dingle for two nights in July. Would it be recommend to stay in town, or on the outskirts? Would being in town not allow for a peaceful nights sleep? And is parking difficult? One lodging I'm looking into is on Connor Pass, another in Milltown, another in The Wood. Any suggestions as to the "best" spot?

When I was in Dingle, I stayed at the Dingle Pub. The rooms upstairs are very nice and cozy. Don't worry about not getting a good night's sleep due to the pub noise. You can't hear a thing! They offer full-Irish breakfasts, and free wi-fi (downstairs in the pub). Don't forget the live music 7 nights a week! Parking can be a slight problem. I had parked a few streets down earlier in the day, and just moved it closer when I saw a spot open up. Dingle is small, so it's not like you'd have to walk a mile anyway.
