I have already booked my condo and airfare, and just check in the weather. My husband and two little girls were really looking forward to just hanging on the beach. I now read that the average temp is like 58 degrees in March. Will it be too cold to enjoy the beach at this time?
Depends on what you want to do on the beach. If you want to swim, I'd say WAY too cold. Swimming probably only in heated pool. My husband won't go into the water unless it is fairly close to 80deg F, so he would never consider swimming on the Gulf Coast even in late March. If you just want to lie on the sand or walk on the beach, then you will be OK.
