There seem to be no Scandinavia topic as a region. I am hoping someone can tell me in quick summary so I can prepare for my trip in a couple of days. Heading Amsterdam, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo. What currency should I bring with me? Is Euro more widely acceptable than USD? Do I have to carry the local currencies - SEK, DKK, NOK? Where best to exchange them (for good rates) - the airport or a money changer in the streets? Other than that, is credit card widely accepted (I do not have a debit card, as I read this is preferred). (Posting this on Stockholm & Norway forum too). Thanks!
Just withdraw cash from ATMs at Copenhagen Airport. Also the banks at the airport change cash at normal bank rates.
