Travellink.

by Regina1965 Online Now Mar 21, 2012 at 3:52 AM

Can anybody tell me if Travellink.dk is trustworthy? I booked 2 plane tickets with them on Sunday for a trip to Oslo via SAS. After I had booked the screen went blank and showed itself as working for ages and I never got any confirmation about my booking. I have written to Travellink for 4 days now asking them if the booking was completed and two complaint letters - to none of which I have gotten a reply. I have phoned them but never got through. Has anyone had the same experience with Travellink?

Hi there, Sounds wierd - Ive used Travellink a couple of times and havent go any problems? But I got my confirmation. They can be diffecult to reach on the phone though - think a lot of those low budget ticket booking companies is diffecult to reach... I would be concerned if the screen went black - did they drag he payment from your account? All the best Janne, Denmark/Sweden

No, there is nothing on my Visa statement yet, but as I was booking they said that the payment would take several days to show up on my Visa statement, so I don´t know if I should buy new tickets directly from SAS or wait...

I would definitely try to contact them again - did you try no: 0045 70 80 84 70? It should work...? You can call them between 12.30 - 15.00 - so do it right away!

Yes, that is the number I called - and waited for the longest time and nobody answered. Will try again - this is making me a bit mad ;)

Thanks for your answers, yes, Claus would know, will ask him on Facebook, he is more often there than here...and he is always travelling. I phoned them and cannot get through, so I will buy tickets directly with SAS in a couple of days. I find it so incompetent and rude not answering my letters since Sunday.

Call SAS, if you have a reservation they can look that up even though you do not have a confirmation from the company you booked with. Give them Flight number, date, origin/destination and names, that should do it.

This has little to do with solving your problem now - but whenever I find a bargain fare in what I call a 'reseller' site - I write down the date, flight number, and time - and to the actual airline's site for the booking. Even if they are combining with a partner airline - the same flights will usually be there. I never fall for anything that says something like "1 seat left" - that irks me to no end. I always note down the flight, and go to the airline site. Not very fair to the consolidator - but fair to my sanity.
