Which months are the best for surfing?

also, we will live in Denia for days. any good local restaurant in Denia? any "must to see" sight we must to see? since this will be our very first time in Spain/Denia.(we do not have car!) Thanks. Cindy

We will go Spain for 7 days vacation on 12-26-2011. we will land at Barcelona, we do not want rent a car. how can we get to Denia from Barceloan (airport). Any high speed/regular train? or bus? Which one is more directly? and how long and how much will cost by high speed/regular train or bus? Thank you indavance. Cindy

We will be visiting Denia (renting an apartment) for 2 months in the off season. As we will not have a car, I am wondering how easy it is to get taxis in Denia? Also, how accessible is the bus system? Are there any places to rent, or buy a cheap, bike? Thanks for any input!

Has the La Sella Golf Course been improved. Aparently more holes were going to be added to make it a 27 hole course. Have these changes been completed? If not when is the proposed date for the completion?

We are going to Denia in August staying at a Villa Buscarro, 5 adults 7 children. We haven't hired a car. Is there anybody out there who can tell me the easiest way to get to a good supermarket/hypermarket. Don't mind using public transport or a taxi if they are reasonably priced. We have been told that the supermarket in Denia town is not very good can anyone confirm? Also what is public transport like?

Can anyone please help to find some long term car parking in Denia. My girlfriend and I are driving to Denia spending a few night s their before catching the ferry to the Blaeric Islands. Does anyone have an information on car parking options available while away? Thanks Andrew

Hi, Can I have some help please. We are coming from Canada and are flying into Alicante, picking up a car, driving to Denia and then spending 3 weeks with friends at Bahia Azul Resort, Denia. Our friends will be there a couple of days before us. Can someone suggest a good meeting place in Denia or the area. The use of a cell phone for one group to contact the other group is not a viable option. We are thinking that if we could all meet somewhere that would be easy for us to find then we could all sort of car pool to the actual resort. Or... is Bahia Azul Resort easy to drive to and not too hard to find and would there be a central meeting place right at the resort? Thanks so much for help.

hi guys what could be more accurate price for the boat excursion ticket, €15 or €50. i asked this today while passing by the ticket office, but later realized that i'm not sure was it "fifty" or "fifteen" euros. i also did not write down the telephone number - mu fault :D the trip is 2x45min going from denia to javea and back. i'd appreciate any help, thanks

Hi I have seen a retreat cabin near Benimaurell and wondered if anyone had ever stayed there or near there and what the area was like. I am interested in chilled out walks in the country, meditation and yoga. Hello, I am looking for locals advice on how to do weekend excursions from Denia, Spain as inexpensively as possible. Should I buy a bus ticket every time I want to go somewhere, or is there some sort of bus pass I can get? Are trains easier? I will be there for 5 months, so the longer something lasts the better... any advice would be great!

Can anyone give me some advice on the best route / line to take from Denia to Barcelona? I've visited the Renfe site several times but must admit I am finding it quite confusing (trying various lines - Arco, Altaria, Estrella, etc. but nothing seems to get me further than "No direct route"). Additionally, Renfe doesn't list a station for Denia so I've been using Gandia as my departure station as I believe it's the closest to Denia... am I correct in that assumption? *rests head in hands in exhaustion* Many thanks! belen

Good evening (my time) everyone. My friend and I will be traveling to Denia soon by way of Valenica Airport. Our flight arrives shortly before what I believe is the only train out of the Airport to Denia (by way of another town, the name of which I cannot recall).
