Many years ago I ordered Spumoni at the Costa Smeralda. It was an alcoholic drink with egg. Is a recipe available? Thanks from an American with fond memories living in Den Helder in the 80's.

As far as I can see spumoni is a dessert and the restaurant website (costa-smeralda.nl/html/home.... is not helpful at all. PJ

I think it might be a local drink from the island of Sardinia (where the owners of the restaurant originates from). I still only find spumoni ice cream. PJ
