What is the easiest way to get to Den Bosch from the Dusseldorf airport? Is there a different mode that is less expensive?
I doubt you can beat the train for ease of travel, although you will have to make changes. You can find train times, details and fares in English on the official German railway website here: bahn.com/i/view/overseas/en/... Click the red arrow at the side to see full details of each departure. You can see details for journeys from the airport or from the Hauptbahnhof (hbf...main station) in Dusseldorf. Fares vary according to departure time, from 24.70 euro. Den Bosch is also given as ''s-Hertogenbosch'.

Main airport, arriving from USA.

Agree with the train option (you have to cross borders, so there is not a direct connection unfortunally). The airport railway station is a bit outside the terminal; have a look at my tip: "Sky Train" - Trains Tip by pieter_jan_v PJ

The prices I'm getting on the German bahn site seem rather high. Is there a chance that I will get a better price by simply purchasing my tickets at the point of departure (Dusseldorf main airport)?

No. The price you are seeing is the price you will pay at the station on the day. There are savings fares available for advance online booking. Check for your actual dte. You will have to buy the ticket online. But, to be honest, I don't think 24.70 euro (the fare for departures with 2 changes) is particularly high for a journey of 150+km.

You are right. I was coming up with higher prices but ended up buying one right around 25 Euro for each way which is fine. Thanks for the help, folks.
