I purchased a large needlepoint print from an antique store in Texas. It has a label on the back stating:Galerie de Kathedraal, kerkstraat 30, den bosch, 073-130942. It also has a print number:7546. I am curious to see where it came from, anything on it. My father-in-law was quite impressed, he was raised on kerkstraat. He was born and raised in Holland, they came to Canada in the 1950's. Any info would be appreciated.
There's no Galerie with that name anymore at Den Bosch. So, you really have a piece of history. PJ

It looks there's a clothing store(?) at that address now: "Scapa of Scotland Men Gebied: Centrum (city center, I assume) Kerkstraat 30 5211 KG Den Bosch Telefoon: 073- 6140148" from favouriteshops.nl/winkels.as... and also see denbosch-web.nl/adDetail.asp... If you really want to pursue this, you might contact another gallery in Den Bosch and see if they remember Galerie de Kathedraal. Look at galeries.nl/mnkunstenaar.asp... and on the left hand side (half way down) in the box under "snelzoek" (quick search), enter "Den Bosch" and hit enter. You'll get a list of galleries in (and near, I think) Den Bosch... Happy hunting! Bill
