which is the best month of the year to visit Delhi?
January to March in my opinion. As has been stated, fog can be a problem- and often grounds planes- however, this should not be a huge factor, as I have only experienced fog related inconvienence on one occasion after a few visits to Delhi (Jan/Feb). Days are fine and sunny, but evenings can get coldish. Take a warm jacket.

Winters are the best time to visit Delhi. If you fly Indigo, you'll not experience too many fog-related problems as their planes are fitted with CAT-II or was it CAT-III devices. From mid-Mar. to mid-Nov., Delhi can be hot, humid, sultry, suffocating. You'll may not enjoy your holidays much at that time. You may also like to visit the famous Mughal gardens. It was open to the public from Feb. 13 to Mar. 11 last year. Almost all leading newspapers in India report this event. You may check the following link: thehindu.com/news/national/a...

If you like winter then come in Dec- Feb it gets really chilly you have to keep your hands in d pocket prepare to shiver, after that it gets warmer and July is the hottest! August-October is nice but bit windy so you have to be ready for dust flying all over you. I like visiting around March!

****You can visit Delhi through out the year**** NO Tourists will not find mid summer in Delhi comfortable at all. Please do not give misleading information

Agree with Lynne. No way you can enjoy yourself like a tourist during the torrid summer and hot humid months in Delhi. Its normally in the 40 degree celsius (104 Farenheit) range in the shade at that time of the year.

The best time to visit Delhi is from October to March when the weather is at its best. During this period flowers are at their blooming best, the weather is pleasent and enjoyable to experience Incredible Delhi.

Best period is from November to end March any other time you are in trouble from the heat and humidity . It is gonna kill you LOL
