We own a timeshare and have the opportunity to trade into the Americano Beach Resort for any 2 weeks in January or Feb 14-18, 20009. We have never been to Florida before, are golfers and would also like to do some sight seeing. Is this a good time to visit or is the weather too unpredictable? Appreciate any feedback you can offer. Lucky you - you will have a great time and the weather will be absolutely OK. January is a different ball-game down here and the golfing will be amazing, healthy and fun. By the way if you're sightseeing there's a neat place - the Pioneer Settlement for the Creative Arts you should check out. It has buildings from the early 20th century and show what life was like for the early settlers. A great day out. Have a great trip!
