Hi I am having difficulty finding busses or coaches that go to duagavpils from Riga Airport (at a reasonal price if possible). Many thanks in advance, Taya

The airport is really close to the city. When in Riga, you can choose transport for D-pils. Must not be a prob, lots of busses and some trains. No air though.

Hi Taya! Your jorney from Riga's Airport to Daugavpils will looks: Take bus No 22 )bus.rigassatiksme.lv/m.asp?T... from Airport to the Centralmarket (Centraltirgus), than go to the Central bus station and buy the ticket to Daugavpils (1188.lv/satiksme/starppilset....

Hello all, Tahnk you so much for all your help, I really appreciate it. Not only have you all been helpful, you have also saved me a lot of money too! I was taold that if I take the minibus from riga to D-Pils it would have cots me137, that is more than my flight ticket! So my plan is, I will take a taxi to centralrigus and then take the bus 22 to D-Pils! On the way back, I will take the train and then a taxi! I leave tomorrow so I will write when I get back! Have a nice weekend :-) Taya

Hi all! I just want to say it was a breeze getting to and room Daugavpils by bus, it' took 4 hours going and 3.5hr returning! I didn't get the train because the timetable was inconvenient. I loved it there and would love to visit Daugavpils again. I just wish the journey wasn't so long, but thank god for the music! Taya xxx
