Hi, We are heading the Garden Party in July and planning to stay in Zadar for a couple of nights. Can anyone recommend decent hostels/hotels/apartments in the city centre? Also what's the nightlife like? What clubs/pubs should we avoid? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Mad stephen.
There are only two hotels in the old town. The Hotel Venera is a cheap, clean no frills Hotel -- no tv, no internet, no phone, no breakfast. www.hotel-venera-zd.hr I think I paid around 40 Euro for a room. There lots of older people that rent out rooms and apartments -- some hang around at the ferry landings and parking lots outside the old town. Can't tell you about the nightlife...too old for that stuff...
