I need some information on getting from Sibenik to Plitvica Park for a day's outing. Best way to travel (rent car, bus, tour, etc.)? How far is it, and how long would it take by road? There will be 6 of us, and we will be arriving in September. We will arrive by boat, and would also like to visit Krka Nat'l Park. Any ideas? Thanks, ej
NP Krka is in close surroundings to Sibenik, 10-15km from the town. As for traveling to Plitvice, you may take bus which is cheap or you may rent a car, which devided in 6 isn't so expensive and you travel more comfortable and seeing much more. From Sibenik to Plitvice you have less than 150km.

Thank you for quik answer to my question. I see where the bus takes about 4 hours, how long is the drive by car? I assume the bus makes stops, I would not have to make with a car. I would not be driving fast, as roads are unfamilar. I hope car is faster. Thank you again for your help, ej

I believe any hypermarket in Sibenik is a good place to order a washing machine. I see Ecos has a shop in Sibenik... more
