What is the best place for me to get GBP changed to Dong as soon after I get off the plane at the Airport? Cant seem to get any dong where I live anywhere. thanks.
Dong is still not an international currency, hence you can't buy or sell it outside Vietnam. There is a couple of exchanges at the airport with not bad rates. Jonny

Normally gold shops give the best rate. Also there are ATM's everywhere which work with most cards, might be a better option as the Dong might be devalued somewhat in the next few months

Hotels are notorious for giving the worst rates, and with the dong going up and down these days your better to go to the a gold shop (these are money exchangers as well as gold merchents)

It should normally not be that cold, but you might get a lot of rain that time of year. more
