Hi everybody!! i would like to know your opinion about to spend a day trip from Prague...Cesky Krumlov or Olomouc? many thanks for any advice!!
agree with above, but if you insist then i'd say Olomouc. Even better if you can spend longer in the area as it has some nice hills not far from OC, they're great for hiking. if you want something still closer to Praha (beside KH), i can recommend a day trip to Telc which has fabulous square.

If you are looking for a day trip closer to Prague, Karlstejn Castle is an interesting place to go. I've not been to Cesky Krumlov or Olomouc, but from Google photos they look amazing. Olomouc is kind of a college/university town and about 3-4 hrs by train from Prague. Cesky Krumlov requires a change from train to bus at Cesky Budejovice but as others have said it really requires an overnight stay as it is a great place to see at night. Of the two I prefered Cesky Krumlov the most.

I went to Olomouc and Telc last summer. Both of them are nice but not very close to Prague.
