Can I easily get from Cusco to Nasca?

Hi, I have a few days in Cusco and I really wanted to see the Nasca lines. I've looked for tours that would go there from Cusco, but all I see is tours leaving out of Lima for US$200 - yikes! I know the actual scenic flights in Nasca run for about40-$50, but how do I get there from Cusco? Can I do that in a day?
