Transport from Cusco to Yucay

I am flying into Cusco, and then going directly to Yucay in the Sacred Valley (I'll be coming back to Cusco later). Can anyone recommend how to get to Yucay? Do I need to pre-arrange a taxi, or can I just get one at the airport when I arrive?

    I would advise you to get an official airport taxi rather than an illegal one as it will be safer. Although the official airport taxis are more expensive they are registered and safe. Just go to the official taxi counters at the airport

    I would recommend you do not hesitate in discussing the price if you think the one first quoted in outrageous. As said before airport taxis will be more expensive (and safer) but it should still be cheap-ish. Maybe someone has a recent example of pricing? (I went in 2005 & hired a taxi for a whole day but price is probably different now!)
