    • Mariana Fl or Thomasville Georgia

      Thomasville Sep 23, 2015 at 4:50 AM

I am from Australia and am planning a big driving trip in the South. I am heading from New Orleans to Savannah. I am going to stop a couple of times throughout this phase of the journey. I am trying to choose a stop over in either Mariana FL or Thomasville Georgia. My question is which town is prettier? We are only going to stay one night.

      Thanks in advance

this is my first trip to Cumberland Island. I know that there are no motorized vehicles on the island except for the van tours. If my campsite is several miles away from the ferry dock, do I have to hike to the site or is there any transportation?

We have made a couple of day trips to the Island and now are planning our first camping trip at Sea Camp. Can anyone offer any advise on how and what to pack. How big are the storage boxes are they big enough for a cooler or tote? How do you get everything to the campsites from the dock? We camp alot at campgounds but have never backpacked so our supplies are big and bulkey.
